How to set up “Do not disturb” mode for telephony devices – FRITZ!Box

Do not disturb settings can be configured for all of you telephony devices in the FRITZ!Box user interface. By enabling do not disturb functions, you can choose periods of  time when your telephones connected to your FRITZ!Box can ring and receive calls. This can be useful if you want to mute telephone calls at night. Note that do standard do not disturb settings will not effect IP telephone settings, so you will have to configure these separately. Additionally. do not disturb settings will disable answering machines and fax machines.

  • Now open the “Telephony” menu from the interface.

  • From the “Telephony” menu, open the “Telephony Devices” menu. Proceed to the following menu.

  • You should see a list of the telephony devices connected to your FRITZ!Box. Select the “Edit” button (this will look like a pencil) next to the chosen device. This will open the settings menu for the given device.

  • Find the “Do Not Disturb” tab. This page will allow you to configure the do not disturb settings for your device.

  • Simply select the “OK” button to save the new settings.

  • Repeat the above steps for any other telephony device connected to your FRITZ!Box.

 

You should now have set up do not disturb functions for your FRITZ!Box telephony devices.
