How do I setup my SNOM Phone?
In most cases phones ordered from us would be pre provisioned so its simple PnP, if however the phone gets reset or its not provisioning please check the below setting:
This page can be found by logging into the phone and going to Advanced>>>Update, the setting URL field should be populated with (company name).plustalk.voiceservice.im/prov/snom(model number).htm or http://(company name).sip.wimanx.com/prov/snom(model number).htm depending on which service you have.
Open MAC Provisioning
For security reasons, navigate to the extension level and activate “Open account for MAC based provisioning” as shown, to allow the phone to provision to that specific account.
Once you have done this please save the settings and reboot the phone. It should then provision.
If a phone needs to be manually provisioned then this will be covered in a separate article as this is a more complicated setup.
