Blocking YouTube in the Parental Controls

One of the FRITZ!Box many functionalities, is website filtering. This will allow you to block certain websites such as YouTube from specific devices. The following guide will demonstrate how to do this.

YouTube should now be blocked having used the parental controls. You should now restart the FRITZ!Box or switch the LAN button on the FRITZ!Box housing off and on again. This should apply the new web address restriction to devices which had already accessed YouTube whilst you had been configuring the blacklist. You can apply these methods for any web address which you wish to block from your network or from specific devices in your home network.
